Maybe I'm going overboard because its 4 a.m. and I'm finally hearing it, but maybe, just maybe this is the album of the year. Kanye has seemingly put together an album that combines the best of old Kanye (soulful samples and a genuine passion for the art of music) with new Kanye (Yeezus attitude and beliefs), allowing for fans of both versions of the emcee to enjoy a genuine piece of art, while leaving us fans wanting more by the time the 30-minute album's finished.
Clocking in at seven songs, Kanye puts forth memorable lines like "I love your titties because they prove I can focus on two things at once." alongside brilliantly placed guest features such as a Dej Loaf cameo who absolutely steals the show.
While its highlighted with brilliantly placed features and tempo switches that'll give the biggest hip-hop purist goosebumps, its single downside is it's short length. With only seven songs, theres only so much enjoyment one could get from this album without clamoring for more once the album reaches its inevitable conclusion.

I, for one am on my fourth listen through the album and for any veteran listener of the Chicago rapper, you'll quickly see that he's gone back to his classic production style of adding several variations of instrumentation as each song progresses. Whether it's the opening track, where West seemingly provides the listener with his train of thought, proclaiming "just say it outloud to see how it feels."
Kanye has put together a piece of work that could very well be viewed as timeless, and through four run through's I find very little to be flawed with this masterpiece. Despite its length, this maybe one of Kanye's best albums. But this is only a knee jerk reaction so well see if my feelings change in a few weeks.
